Hello America! I am a hispanic women, mother of two young men and wife to a wonderful man who just got deported (we'll talk more about that later..) and I am a native of Puerto Rico.
Well, it is ironic how life can lead you in many different paths and journeys and boy have I had my doosies!
Life is a challenge and blessing for which I am quite grateful to be enjoying. I am embarking on a new path of "freedom of expression" and I hope that I can share some of my nuances of lifes many diverse journeys and maybe enlighten anyone who may be going through some of my issues or adventures! Or maybe you can enlighten me!
I have been planning to write a book for some time now. I guess I will start through this avenue first and see how it goes.
Allow me some slack for a while until I can get my feet wet and learn how to run in this new era of information.
I am really looking forward to blogging on issues that have affected me and many other Hispanic women who have had to deal with the loss of a spouse or family member due to death or deportation. Which is worse? well, I guess we will find out! I have suffered both! but more of that later on.
